World Series Game 3

Tonight Game 3 is being played and it is sure to be another thriller.  It is pretty crazy that 2 wild card teams are in the world series. I found it awesome to watch the Royals sweep through  the postseason until Game 1 of the World Series. The Giants on the other hand have made it through in a different way. They have went 8-2 up until the world series. The Giants took game 1, 7-1 on an incredible performance by Madison Bumgarner. The Royals took Game 2, 7-2 by hammering the ball of Peavy and the Pen.
I hope the Cinderella type team (Royals) take this series but there gonna have to fight if they wanna win.

Paul vs Curry

Case for Chris Paul

Chris Paul is the better defender and passer. He is the best permitter defender in the league when it comes to picking up pick pockets. He can shoot threes and mid range jumpers when he is open but he isn't the best at it. He is incredible at alley oop passes and finding teammates in crazy ways. He is pretty clutch when his team needs it. He is all around great player but is he the best floor general?

Case for Stephen Curry

He is the best shooter in the league when it comes to three pointers. He averaged 24 points, 9 dimes, and 5 boards this year. He has a worse team then Chris Paul so he has less people to trust.  You often don't get a point guard with his unselfishness, passing ability, and shooting ability. Then when you think he is gonna pull up for a three he drives and finishes with that awesome floater.

I am gonna go with Chris Paul for now but Stephen Curry in 3 years.
Who do you think is better?

Harper or Stanton

Who would you rather build a team around Bryce Harper or Giancarlo Stanton? I will make a case for both and I will also say who I would rather build a team around.

Case for Harper
I would love to build a team around Bryce because of his 5 tool status. He could hit 40 homers, bat 300. and steal 40 bases. He could also make diving catches and throw people out from deep left field. He would be a awesome player to build around. The only thing holding him back is that he has bad emotion and he is injury prone.

Case for Stanton
Giancarlo is an excellent player but could get into bad slumps and could get injured easily. Giancarlo has the potential to be the best home run hitter in the league but he needs to work to get there.

Conclusion
I would take Harper because he is better and younger than Stanton. Stanton could surprise me and have a amazing career but for now my choice would be Harper.

TOP 3 MLB PLAYERS OF EACH DECADE PART 1

Hello Baseball Fans, to get us all excited about the start of the season. I am going to name the 3 best players from each decade. Day by day starting from the 1900. Keep coming back to see who is the next 3. Comment and name your top 3 from each decade.

1900's
3. Cy Young- He is in my opinion the best pitcher of all time. He had 33 wins in 1901 with a 1.62 ERA and 158 strikeouts. He had even better numbers in the 1890's that's why he is number 3 on this list. If this was a 1890's countdown he would be number 1, no questions asked.
2. Christy Mathewson- He was a dominant force in the 1900's. He had a season in 1905 where he had 31 wins, 1.28 ERA, and 206 strikeouts. In 1908 he had 37 wins and a 1.43 ERA. He is easily one of the best pitchers of all time and deserves to be in discussion for best of all time.
1. Honus Wagner is number 1 because he could do so much on a baseball field. He batted .350 in 1907 with 61 stolen bases and a .513 slugging percentage. His best year happened in 1908 when he batted .354 with 53 stolen bases, 201 hits, and .957 OPS.

How can Kyrie Irving became the next king of Cleveland?

Kyrie Irving is a great player and could be the next Lebron. Kyrie is smaller, thinner and plays a different position but I mean do what Lebron did. If he does these three things he will be Cleveland's favorite athlete.

Get Lebron to Come Back
If Kyrie and the Cavs make the playoffs and do something special Lebron might want to come back. Until thens needs to carry the cavs most likely by himself. If he carries them to the 2nd round and they put up a fight. LBJ left the Cavs in 2010 but if the Cavs show they are pretty good that might make Lebron want to come back.

Make the playoffs
Kyrie needs to carry the Cavs to the playoffs next season with or without Lebron's help. Kyrie devastating crossovers and amazing scoring ability will help him a lot in the future and in the playoffs. Kyrie reminds me a lot of Allen Iverson besides Kyrie isn't bankrupt. Kyrie and Allen have the same sort of scoring ability.

Make the finals
Lebron made the finals in 2007 and that's what Kyrie needs to do.  Kyrie needs to beat such talented teams to do that. That's why I don't think he will ever lead them to the finals. He will end up as a Cleveland legend when he retires with a MVP

Who to pick first in your fantasy baseball league?

If you get first pick in your fantasy baseball draft this year, there are two men who should be highly concerned. Their names are Mike Trout and Miguel Cabrera. Mike Trout and Miguel Cabrera are the top two candidates for first pick. Mike Trout is a 5 tool player that can do anything on the baseball field. Mike had a flat out amazing 2012 and then followed up with a pretty good year. In 2012 he batted .326 with 30 home runs, 49 stolen bases, and 129 runs scored. In 2013 he batted .323 with 27 home runs, 33 stolen bases, and 109 runs scored. Miguel Cabrera had a better 2012 then 2013 like Mike Trout. Miggy batted .330 with 44 home runs, 139 runs batted in, and a .606 slugging percentage in 2012. Miggy also batted .348 with 44 home runs, 137 runs batted in, and .636 slugging percentage in 2013. My vote is Trout because I think he will have a better year and if your in a keeper league, keep him because he is only 22.

Who should win the NBA MVP

Lebron and Kevin Durant have taken the NBA by storm. We knew Lebron had an complete package but we haven't seen him go for 61 points in a while. KD is averaging 31.7 ppg, 7.7 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 0.7 blocks, and 1.4 steals. Lebron is averaging 27.1 ppg, 7.0 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 1.6 steals. Looking at the stats it seems like KD is a clear cut favorite. The thunder also have a better record at 46-17 over the Heat's 43-17. KD should win MVP as long as he plays like he has been playing.

Free Agent Buzz

Ervin Santana is a very good pitcher who is still on the market. The Atlanta Braves are looking to sign him after and injury to Kris Medlen, the Braves are looking for a pitcher. Ervin Santana has had a nice career with a winning percentage of .538, 1328 strikeouts, and 1.28 WHIP. So the question is where will Santana be come opening day.

Could the Knicks make a run?

The New York Knicks have won three straight now and are only 3.5 game back of the final playoff spot. If they did get that final spot they would most likely versus the Indiana Pacers. The Knicks who looked like they were done are trying to make a push.

Matt Carpenter signs extension

Matt Carpenter of the St. Louis Cardinals signed a six-year deal worth 52 million dollars today. He had a good year in 2013. He batted .318 with 11 home runs and 78 runs batted in. He had a nice .873 OPS and scored 126 times.
